I knew Mike when we were growing up on the southwest side of Chicago. Mike was learning how to play guitar. He'd visit our house and bring Bob Dylan albums. He'd play Mr. Tamborine Man and It's Alright Ma, I'm only Bleeding. As a young teenager, I was mesmerized by Dylan's lyrics and Mike's love of music and great songs. He always seemed to favor openness and the potential of great ideas.
May we always remember the joy and wonderment that Mike brought to those who knew him throughout his life.
